What can I do to ensure my conditions are working?Asked by TransManage on January 21, 2014 at 09:00 PM
I am having trouble getting my conditions to work in the form. Every time I set up conditions, for example I want the user to skip to a page after clicking on an option from a drop down menu. It takes them to a page but not the one that coincides with the option.
I don't want every click to end up on "City Center Bellevue." I also want every user to skip to the "Thank you" page after completing their form and clicking "yes" I agree to terms..
I really appreciate your help!
I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.
Upon checking your form, I found that you have several duplicate conditions and some conditions can be merged together. You also have some fields which are deleted.
I would suggest you to send us a point wise list regarding your field conditions and needs to skip to which page. We will try to help you add them in your form. Currently it is bit confusing because of the number of pages and the duplicate conditions.
We will wait for your response.
Thank you so mush Ashwin!
I would just like to make sure the options in “Work Building” skip to the page with the same work building name. And then in each “work building page” after the person clicks “yes” for “I have read the above conditions” and clicks next, I’d like it to go to the submit page and then the thank you page. I hope that makes sense.
I also wasn’t sure how to determine what the pages were. I have been going to “Manage Multiple Fields” and counting off every time a saw a “page break.”
Managing this Jotform was passed on to me and I was never trained to edit it so I really appreciate your help!

Thank you for updating us with that information. You may use the Form-Collapse Field and set its Status to Open and Visibility to Hidden to help you out in identifying the Pages from "Manage Multiple Fields"
Please see this illustration:
Please allow us some time to analyze your conditions as you have many condition rules set so that we can give you proper suggestions or the right approaches you can do. Rest assured I will get back to you within the day. Thank you
Thank you so much!
I apologize for the delay. It took me awhile to understand the sequences on how your form operates. I made the few changes on your form that are not related to the conditions. However, it helped the conditions simpler.
The first thing I did is to place some Form-Collapse fields to help me track the page numbers just like what I mentioned on the previous reply I made.
Second, I deleted all of your conditions and left only the conditions that directs the Work Building dropdown box to the proper Pages.
Here are all the final conditions:
If you have noticed that I deleted the conditions concerning the "I have read the above conditions" checkboxes that skips to the end of the form where submit button is. Instead, I just put new submit buttons on just below of each of those checkboxes. 13 submit buttons in total
Then I hide the Next buttons on the pages where the submit buttons are found. Please let us know if this is what you are trying to achieve. Thank you
This is exactly what I am trying to achieve! Thank you so much for your help!
On behalf of my colleague, you are welcome.
