I keep trying to test my form and it goes to an email that i do not want to go to. I have changed it in the notification as well as the account profile.

Please log out of your account and log back in, the change will take effect.
In the meantime, to make sure that the email goes to the right address:
1. Please change it in your email notifications
2. Rather than click the 'Test Email' button as shown below, save the changes and do a test submision of your form, then the test will send it to the correct address.
