Box.net integration is not saving folders to the original root folder. Please help!

Asked by attack1 on January 22, 2014 at 04:00 PM

I have a form with box.net integration, but only the first submission gets saved within the root file name I designate during setup. All submissions after the first are going to my main box.net account. The naming is correct, however they are not going being saved to the designated sub-folder.

    Example in the link:

    http://tinypic.com/r/uouv8/5

Chicago and Bloomington need to be saved to the L43 Event Photos folder

    THANKS SO MUCH!

Hi, I was testing this integrations and it seems to be working fine, what I would recommend you is to remove the integrations, and integrate it again.

Go to My Forms, click on "Edit", click on  "Integrations", "Document sharing", click on Box.net integration and remove it.

I have tested it and the forms are saved on the designated sub-folder.

You could go to you Box.net account and move the submissions from the old folder, and also the "Chicago and Bloomington" ones, to the new folder that will be created once you reintegrate Box.net on your form.

Hope this helps, let us know if it works.

    Hello-

Still not working. I removed the inegrationa and tested on another form. Entries are not getting saved to the main folder, rather being added to box as individual folders with no parent.  As you can see in the final cap, the folders are independent of the parent folder, although the first entry does save in there in a folder, but with only the file and no PDF results report.

    Thanks for your help.

All the folders listed above Wave III LICOR 43 FY14 Event Photo Form should be in the Wave III LICOR 43 FY14 Event Photo Form folder.

    @attack1

Did you rename your form title? Did you check if the existing folder on your Box has the same folder name on your Integration Setup? This might be the reason why it does not land on the designated folder anymore.

Please re-integrate your form and make sure the Main Folder Name on the setup matches on the existing folder name on your Box account. Note that the Main Folder Name is taken from the form title.

    Thanks!

    Hi-
Thanks for getting back to me. No, I did not change the form title. I tried
the integration on another form and it was doing the same thing.

    Hi,

I am also not able to reproduce the reported issue when I tried on my end.

I cloned your form and used it to test

I tested 2 submissions and they are both created inside the Main folder

The configuration wizard I setup is like this

Can you please confirm if you are still having issue?

If still is, can you share the screenshot of configuration wizard of the Box.net integration on your end. You can upload the image here http://imgur.com/ and share to us the link.

    Thanks.

I'm still having the issue. Do you know if it could be a box.net issue?

    Hello,

We're having difficulty reproducing your issue.

I cloned your form, and integrated it with Box. All the folders went into the parent folder as they are supposed to.

I removed the integration and tested it again in the same folder - same result - all the submissions went into the same folder.

    Try the following:

    1.

Log in to your account using this link.

    Delete the current integration.

Create a new one to the same folder.  - Did that change anything?

    2.

With the normal login, create a new root folder with the same form. Same issue?

    3.

Create a free box account to test and see whether this is the same case.  - Same issue?

Please let us know which scenario fixed the issue, then we can propose a fix.
