    Hello gnolan,

Your form works fine with its direct URL. Take a look here:  http://www.jotform.us/form/33599475798177

There seems to be some conflict between the JotForm scripts and other script you have in your form. Embedding your form with its iFrame code will solve your problem. This guide should help you get your form's iFrame code:  http://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code

Do get back to us if the issue persists.

    Thank you!

I'm getting "reload if not shown" where the "captcha" text should be on both your link and when I insert embed code.

    Hello Gary,

I noticed that you've removed the captcha in your form.  It's also possible that some scripts used by your form did not load properly which is why your captcha isn't loading properly.  So you can try clearing your browser's cache and then test gain your form's captcha.

Please do let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

    Liyam,
Thanks for your quick reply. I tried a couple of different scripts and cleared cache with the same result. The results were the same on line as what I saw when I clicked the link in the earlier email. I would like to put it back but for now I did not want this what seems like an inconsistent thing to keep people from finishing the form. I will tackle it later.
    Thanks,
    Gary

    Thanks for your repsponse Gary.

We would like to help you resolve this.

Please let us know when your form is available, so that we can restore the capture field and run some tests.

I noticed that your page source has a different Doctype Declaration from the Form Iframe, this could cause some consistencies.

    Titus,
I am not seeing the form declaration statement in the iframe script nor the general embed script (the <> icon) to check consistency. I looked up a recommendation given someone recently for a declaration statement, added that and added captcha with an unsatisfactory result.
The form is still up by the way with that edited declaration in. the captcha is off again for now. Maybe we should start with how to match iframe and form declaration statements.
    Thanks,
    Gary

Thank you for the response Gary,

The differing DDT is as inline (click to enlarge):

You would have to wait for the Iframe to load so that you can see the Declaration.

Why not match yours (Top of Page) with what is in the Iframe? Both appear to support declare HTML versions.

But, alas, without the captcha as one of the fields, we would cannot determine the cause of the problem.

With your permission, we could grab your page's source code and create a test environment with the Captcha field added.

    Titus,
Probably should have copied the script into my vi editor as I missed that. Is that the iFrame option/script?
Anyway I am going outside for a bike ride (courtesy of our dang drought weather up here). You have my permission to go in. I just edited a template I had from long ago with Dreamweaver so its nothing special. I just needed a container for your forms.
I look forward to what you find and I appreciate your attentiveness. Your support people deserve an A.
    best regards,
    Gary

PS The "captcha" problem only surfaced after maybe 3 weeks. It was fine until then.

There is at least one issue that should be fixed. You have embedded the form into two places on the page.

The first one within < style > < /style > is not correct, please delete the form code from there.

Then, you can try to re-check the captcha field to see if that makes any difference.

    Mike,
I will do that but that statement went in after getting an email about embedding iFrame. When I looked on the support page it seemed to indicate using that embed script was more flexible in terms of page properties and subsequent editing (iframe needed to be re-loaded or something like that after any changes). Once I delete that I will be back to where this situation with "captcha" began.

    Mike,
I think I have it worked out. Once I realized that the source code script/tool icon is the same as or is one of the many options available under the embed form icon next to it matters became much clearer. When I set the form up originally a few weeks ago I pasted the source code (< > icon in toolbar) thinking it was something separate. I get what is going on now.
    Thanks,

Here I am again. The "captcha" has gone back to spinning after I had it working for a short time. I will leave it on the form for a little while but may need to take it off if much time elapses as applicants will not be able to complete the form.

    Hello Gary,

I think it's because the scripts download properly. Have you tried doing a full refresh on your browser?  I also just checked your page on my browser and was able see the captcha load properly.

Please do let us know if the problem still persists on your end.

    Thanks.

    Ilyam,
I closed then re-opened the browser and they looked OK. I usually clear cache when checking but maybe that's not enough. Not sure what "I think it's because the scripts download properly." means though. Also I'm unclear on what is being carried over in some browser setting that would do this.
I will certainly try closing and reopening browser again before checking. I first noticed it with Chrome tonight though and I usually use Firefox to check.
    Thanks,
    Gary

    Hello Gary,

Thank you for opening a new thread here: http://www.jotform.com/answers/323425-Captcha-not-loading#1

If you do not mind, we shall resolve this re-occurence using that thread.

If you have Google Chrome, please use Chrome Dev tools and let us know if you see any cdn errors, as the form is loading normally from our end.

    Titus,
Good to see from you again. I reloaded the code, shut down the browser and reopened and so far I am good. Just for your records I tried the Dreamweaver embed code then went back to iframe. I have 3 forms up and when this happens all 3 act up. One form I have left in the Dreamweaver embed, the other 2 are iframe. Thanks for the Dev tools hint. I am slowly coming to appreciate Chrome more.
Hopefully this will not surface again. And if it does I will first close and reopen browser to see if it persists. In that case I will send a screen shot.
    regards,
    Gary
