Conditional emails hidden field limitation?

Hi,

We have a paid account. We are trying to set up conditions to send emails based on states of variables we choose which are hidden from our customers who fill out our forms. Therefore we are using hidden variables as our triggers for these Conditions. There seems to be a limitaiton on hidden variables triggering Conditions, so the emails are not being sent. Is there a workaround for this?
