PDF Not attached to Notification Email

Hi All,

I'm trying to set up my notification email so that it attaches a PDF of the form for the respondent, and also for my internal team to save etc.

I've followed all the steps, clicked the right options etc, but when I do a test email (or even get a staff member to fill it in) we don't get a PDF. I know this has worked before, so I'm thinking something might be broken?

Please can you let me know as I love (and need) this functionality?

Could you try to remove and recreate the Notification email from scratch, adding the PDF attachment again?

In the meanwhile I cleared your form cache.

The Test Email functionality, will send an email only to the email address associated with your Jotform account.

I'd suggest you to make a live test submission. If you still can't receive any email, you can check if the emails has been regularly sent out from our servers, directly from your account settings, as shown below:

If the emails has been sent out, there may be a possibility that your mail server anti-spam filters are mistankingly blocking our emails from reaching out your inboxes and you may need to whitelist our IPs and domains:

I understand that it will only send an email to the email address associated with my account. Just to be clear, I am getting the test emails, the problem is that they don't have the PDF attachement.

I cloned your form and made a test submission, but I regularly received the PDF attached to the Notification email:

Could you kindly try to clone your form, out of mine, generate the PDF from the PDF Editor and see if you can receive it, after attaching it from the email notification settings?

Just to confirm this is now working when someone fills in the form. It's when you hit the 'send test email' button that it doesn't attach a PDF, but I'm good with that, so long as it works when customers fill it in.

Hello David,

I can confirm that the Test Email functionality only sends you out the email body, to let you see if the email template is displayed correctly on the final email, and the PDF won't get attached to the test email.

For a real test, you should make a dummy submission. In such case, you'll receive the PDF attached to the email.
