On our forms when the customer hits the Submit button the form says "Pleas Wait" and then just does nothing. This only happens with some customers. Is there a way to bypass the data going to Jotform and have it emailed directly to us. I'm very confident it is the jotform server which is timing out. We have the forms installed locally.

It only takes a few seconds for the form results to be submitted (even large files are uploaded before results are submitted), unless you get an error report (Like a 404) on your screen, Jotform servers have not timed out. If you did, please let us know.
I have tested your form, and it does not appear to respond the way you decribed, but you did say it happens to some users, not all...so my test does not disprove your challenge.
The form's behavior is consistent with an Iframe embed with script conflicts on the page (I noticed you have a number of iframes).
To fix this, please try embedding the form using the Wordpress Embed script as shown below:
