Customers that fill out our form and press enter to move to the next field are submitting incomplete forms because hitting enter button automatically submits the form. Can the submit button be set so it has to be clicked to send form?

Hi, when the you press enter it will actually work as pressing the submit button. I this case what I woud recommend you is to add a captcha field.

I hope this helps you, if you have another question please open a new thread, and whe are going to be glad to assist you.

OK so I did that and when I enter information in all the fields and hit return to go to the next field it automatically goes to the bottom to the captcha field. I was hoping to make the submit button so that you actually have to click it with the mouse rather than hit return. Is that possible?

    Hi,

Thank you for contacting us. Disabling the enter button would require an event which you need to code it using javascript. You can modify that if you download your form source the apply some javascript code that will disable that event on keyboard. I was browsing through net then I found this sample guide on how to disable it http://webcheatsheet.com/javascript/disable_enter_key.php.
