is there any option in your approvals to allow for prefromatted comments for approvers , i want a supervisor to be able to input data in a form then approve it , the data is a standard format and can be simple check boxes. the employee must not be able to see this information or these questions only the supervisor. so the process flow is like this

employee submits request form ----> supervisor receives request , supervisor can either :

Request additional data fromm employees . and have them edit form and add requested info. then resubmit.

Approve request , which requires super visor to provide data themselves and answer questions , this then get sent to a manager for final approval

Deny request . Request is denied and reason noted in comment .

At no time must the employee see the supervisors questions or answers provided.

You may check this workflow approach: https://www.jotform.com/help/432-a-general-approach-on-building-an-approval-process-workflow

Basically, you can use a Get form page URL widget on the form and use conditions to hide the supervisor fields when the form is being edited by the employee: https://www.jotform.com/help/196-hide-or-show-multiple-fields-at-once.

Do give it a try and let us know.

This method falls apart if the super visor resends the form to employee to fill in , then the url will have the edit in the condition wll be met showing the employee what the supervisor has inputted

...then the url will have the edit in the condition wll be met showing the employee what the supervisor has inputted

What you can do is have another hidden field to identify the switch - if its employee or supervisor, when "edit" URL link was used.

So using the switch field + "edit" condition, you can still show/hide data between employee and supervisor.

I hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
