Save forms to continue laterAsked by dwooster on January 26, 2014 at 08:05 AM
My users aren't always able to complete the form at one time. Is there a way for them to go back and continue filling in a partially completed form that has been submitted?
There is the option of saving forms to continue later. You can see here the guide:
It will work from any computer where the user submits.

I followed the guide step by step. But the 2nd form (called in your guide the main form) isnt receiving a copy of the data that was on the 1st form, the name and email address. The problem appears to be caused by having different field names between the two forms. Can you help me?
Can you name the first form and the main form where you're passing the data? I can't seem to find out exactly on your account since you have 2 different forms with start name and possibly two main forms. We'd appreciate if you could name the forms that are linked to each other so we can check it here. It's probably with the field names.
FYI, we have "prepopulate app" which allows you to populate sample data to your form. You can then replace these sample data with the field tags. You can create prepopulating URL for your second form here so you do not need to find out the field names. Check this: http://prepopulate.jotform.io/
Generated on the prepopulate app:
Replace the sample data with the field tags from the first form.
Here's how to get field tags:
