Hi, I see a number of widgets that set up an item with a variable number of fields (through an "add" button that adds additional fields) -- but as far as I can tell, every one of these widgets is limited to only text fields. I'm looking for something like "Matrix Dynamique" but with drop-downs. Is there any way to create a variable number of dropdowns?

You must be looking for this http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/dynamic_fields
It is a dynamic dropdown widget.
Hope this help. Inform us if this is not what you need.

Please search for "Dynamic Fields" text under the "Widget" tab and you should be able to get this widget listed. Please see the screenshot below:
Hope this helps.

jonathan - i belive the OP asked if there are any widgets available or indevelopment like "Matrix Dynamique" that allow you to change the input types from text to a variety or combination of "dropdown" or selectbox menus.
I'm looking for this as well. I require 3 inputs (2 "dropdown" select menus and 1 number field).
The "Dynamic fields" widget you suggested only uses text fields.

Thank you for clarifying that.
Please open a new ticket so that we can respond to your request effectively.
In the meantime, @ firstname.lastname@example.org can confirm your clarification - and we will raise a feature request - since the widgets we currently have do not have that specific capability -

Guys, we're looking for the same thing.
Essentially it requires the ability for a user to add a group of different types of field that have some business relationship.
As an example a dropdown 'operation' selection e.g. GET, PUT etc and a free text field that indicates the 'resource' to be operated upon, e.g. /actuator/switch1
So a user might want to enter:
With an 'Add' button to create a new line
Most often these would be side by side, but it would be better if the related fields could be positioned anywhere within an area.
Without this, pity but jotform won't work for us.
