Approval Workflow Process

This form has 3 different approval paths depending on how D is answered.

If the user selects that it is a School to School transfer, the first school begins the form and the 2nd one completes it. I've added the 2nd school as part of the approval process workflow. Is that how it needs to work?

Loving the approval workflow -- but there always seems to be a little tweak that I am missing.

Yes, you can attach an edit link in your email to the 2nd school, they can click to complete the rest of the form.

Alternatively, you can also create 2 forms for 2 schools individually and have 1st form populate the fields in the 2nd form with URL parameters.

So that 2nd school won't have to re-type the same information again in their form.

Please clarify which Approval node corresponds to the 'School to School transfer' and also which on is the 2nd school in your approval flow diagram:

The conditional branch 1D starts the school-to-school transfer approval process.

The email between the conditional branch and the approve and sign step is the 2nd school.

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing additional information with us. Based on your configuration, once "1.D. What type of transfer..." is selected, the email with edit link will be sent to the second school. Please also note that edit link will not work with URL Parameters as edit link will get the data from the database and will not work with URL parameters/query string. If you'd like to repopulate the fields, please try out prefill feature instead. You can find more information on JotForm Prefill by visiting the link below.
