Missing answers in PDF

    hi,

    i have two identical forms, only the link is different. i have the problem with both forms that the answers for the fields "Bodengüte + Bodengüte II + Bodengüte III to Bodengüte XII are not displayed in the PDF although they are built in. See also attachment. How can I fix this? 


    The PDF is called EZM-PDF and is also correctly linked to the two forms.


    In addition, every time I go to Customize PDF, the following text is displayed: It seems that you have updated your form.

    Do you want these updates to be applied to your document?

    Why is this every time, I have not changed anything on the form?

    hi,

    I had already done that several times. Anyway, I still created a new PDF in the PDF editor now again and still the same problems. The answers for the said fields are not shown to me in the PDF and in the lead overview. And the PDF editor asks the same question every time, "It seems that you have updated your form. Do you want these updates to be applied to your document?" even though nothing has been changed on the form.

    Greetings.

    I have checked your submissions, and there is only one value for the field (II) Bodengüte: Hat die Fläche eine höhere Bodenwertzahl (BWZ/BKZ) als 40.

    If the field doesn't have any value, the field will not be shown on PDF Document.

    You can change this from the PDF Settings:

    Hi,

    yes it is intentionally set so that unanswered questions are not displayed.

    The problem is that answered questions are not displayed in the pdf under the "Bodengüte" fields!

    thanks for the fast answer. but the issue still persists. I´ve deleted these fields and added them again. No results :(

    I have checked your submissions, and most of the submissions doesn't have any values for any of the Bodengüte fields:

    Since there are no values in these fields, no data will be shown in the PDF Document.

    yes, we have been there. only when something is entered in these fields, nothing is displayed in the pdf. there must be someone who can help.

    in addition to the problem that the answers are not displayed in the "Bodengüte" field, there is now the problem that i can no longer download leads as a pdf. neither in the inbox nor in any other place. every week a different problem that is not my fault. i must be able to load the leads and the form must work. what is going on with jotform? i have always liked working with it, only currently good work with it is not possible. very annoying, what can I do???

    We had a smaller problem with PDF Documents, however, our Developers notified us that it has been resolved. Please try again and let us know if you are still having problems.

    The reason why you see this field in the link I've shared is that only this one has data in this field. You can use the following link to see all submission data, and modify the values if needed:

    As you can see from this screenshot, only one submission has value in this field:

    You can update the values from the provided link and once you do, you should see values on PDF Document.

    yes i see on the screenshot only one field has value. I also know that I can add the value manually but thank you. but the problem is that the fields are filled with value by the user but do not appear! I have tested it many times and even answered the fields and also answered the fields with "Bodengüte" but it does not appear. Now just tried again and it´s not working. This is the error that needs to be solved and I do not know what it is. It had in any case already worked, only now unfortunately no longer...

    As I mentioned above, removing and re-adding fields should fix the issue on my end, but not on your end.

    In this case, I would recommend you to clear your browser’s cache. 

    http://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/ 

    After that, remove these fields and reload the page.

    Then, re-add these fields. 

    Let us know if the issue still persists.

    so i have cleared my browsercache several times, then deleted the affected fields and reloaded the page. then reinserted the fields. The problem still exists. It has now also been filled several times by customers from other terminals with responses but they are still not displayed. any other solutions?

    Please note that some form questions are hidden on your form. Also, these questions are no required, so they can be empty.

    Can you please let us know have you received a Notification email regarding these submissions? Are these notifications contained the missing information?

    yes i still realize that the fields are hidden and not required depending on the action. but the point is, if depending on the action/logic the field is displayed and also answered, the answer is neither displayed in the pdf nor under answers. do you understand this now? 


    and yes, it is set so that unanswered questions are not displayed. an email is sent after submission but the answers are also missing if they have been answered.

    Can you please try to disable Clear Hidden Field Values from the form settings:

    This way, fields won't be cleared if they get hidden.

    After this, please try to submit your form and let us know if the problem is resolved.
