    Cannot pay by Debit or Credit Card

    Set up standard Paypal option. Form works perfect.BUT...

    when you get to the PayPal page and choose the "No PayPal account? Pay using your credit or debit card"...  you cannot make the payment.

    Photo is attached of both screens.

     

    To see the error, you must fill out the form.

    Hi,

    Let me please explain, the standard PayPal tool will redirect each customer to the PayPal payment page upon form submission, while the PayPal Pro tool can accept credit card payments directly from your web page.

    Also, PayPal payment page can optionally show the Guest Checkout option. This option should be based on your PayPal account settings. You can find more information here.

    I dont have any problem going to the paypal page befoe they choose the option of PayPal or Pay with Debit or Credit card... the issue I have is that they CANNOT pay with debit or credit card because we keep getting a error message.

    Upon checking your form, I was not even able to see the "Pay using Credit or Debit card" option. Have you made any changes to your PayPal account recently? Check the screenshot below:

    It is actually based on your PayPal account settings. You may like to check the following URL on steps to enable this feature: https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/About-Business-Archive/Guest-checkout/td-p/425081?profile.language=en

    Hello Ashwin_d:

    When I use IE, the buyer can choose to sign up for Paypal.... same option is not on Chrome.

    The view that you attached was not using chrome... as none of theat paypal info shows up at all. See original photo for chrome view.

    Either way, I want the buyer to be able to make a payment WITHOUT signing up at all.

    To do this, do I need to have a business or premiere acct?

    Hi,

    I tested your form https://www.jotform.com/40224796599165 both in IE9  and Chrome browser.

    Below are the paypal screens after submission

    Both browser actually shows option to sign-up for Paypal account. 

    You can share to us the screen on your end by using this URL to upload the image http://imgur.com/ . Just include the link of uploaded image in your message when you respond. We can relate better how it is on your end when you submitted the form.

    As I previously suggested you also use the Paypal PRO payment tool instead to directly accept credit card payments from the form.

    I really appreciate your help with this... and you have the exact page for chrome that I initially loaded. See top photo.

    The issue is when someone would click on the chrome credit or debit card button... it does not work. See top photo.

    Bottom line, it looks like the Paypal needs to be updated to some other type of account.

    I am trying to keep someone from being FORCED into having a PayPal account. That is the real result I am looking for. I should have been clear from the beginning... my error all the way.

    Hi,

    I can see what you mean. As you stated, it seems Paypal is having issues with "Pay using your credit or debit card" page. So, would be a solution for you to use our Paypal Pro integration instead of our regular Paypal one? That will prevent your customer to face this issue in Paypal and they will not be forced to create a Paypal account if they do not have one.

    I thinks this can resolve the issue.
