i got some problems with targets for links:
my purpose is to link two forms with a hyperlink, i would like that both forms will open in the same window.
so i define a hyperlink with the target «open link in same window» and save it.
but the target of the link always change to «open link in new window».
what's wrong with this option? i checked the html and it seems ok ().
can you please help me? i'm new on jotform, thank you very much

Can you try using the parameter instead. to target=_self
I checked your form and you have set it to target=_blank which is making it open on a new window instead. Refer to this article http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_a_target.asp for more helpful details.
Hope this help. Inform us if you need more assistance.

There must be an issue on the HTML field if it would not saved properly.
Please try editing the text of the HTML via this method
Do not use the Edit HTML button of the TEXT field for now. Just edit the text, click OK button, then Save form.
This my test form using your form http://form.jotform.me/form/40283677618463?
Inform us if issue persist.

thank's a lot. i just tried to fix the target the way you showed me:
changing the html-code directly over the html-button.
unfortunately, the changes from _blank to _self will not be saved.
if i close the form and open it again, the code is always changed to again.
thank you for your help again, i really don't know what's wrong.
maybe the attacked video can help.
thanks & regards,

We are not able to see your attached video as this forum does not support attachement.
Kindly try uploading your video here instead http://imgur.com/ and then share to us the link of the uploaded video. This way we can see the attached.
I am not sure why you cannot saved the form. As you can see I was able to do it easily using my JotForm account too.
Inform us if issue persist.

I was able to reproduce the not saving TEXT html on the form.
I apologized for this. I was not able to catch it earlier.
This will be indeed an issue on how you wanted to use your form.
I could not figured out at the moment an alternative TEXT with link to used.
But allow me a bit of time to figure it out.. I am sure there is an alternative we can user while I will submit to our higher team support this issue.
I will get back to you.

I found the alternative that can be temporarily used as text with link -- the Header field
Here is my version of the form http://form.jotform.me/form/40283677618463? that is using it.
To achieve on your end.
1. Add Header field below each of the TEXT field as will be deleting the TEXT field later.
2. Use the texts from this pastie http://pastie.org/8679017 for the text of each header field.
Just copy the text from pastie, and then Paste it to the header field. Do this for each header field.
3. Inject this CSS codes into the form http://pastie.org/8679027
Refer to this guide on how to http://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes
Save the form. Test and preview.
Inform us if this does not work for you.

Can you try editing your form again and check if the problem continues to persist? I just made some tests and it no longer adds the target attribute on the header texts. Although it is still recommended to use the Text element since it's more flexible, as the header text elements remove the HTML tags once you try to edit it (since it's not designed to accept HTML tags).
We'll wait for your response.

Hi Jotform team,
I am having the same problem here as well. I tried Jonathan's "Header Field" work-around, however the is still being changed to upon re-entering the form editing page.
Hope this will be fixed soon.
