Pat_McCloskeyAsked on July 28, 2021 at 5:27 PM
We uploaded the registration form several months ago and it was working fine without issues. Over the last week, users have reported the following issues:
1- When entering phone #s, the numbers duplicate each time you type
2- In the payment section, the cells with credit card info. etc. is missing
Is happening intermittently, not all times.
Any troubleshooting advice? (form is Pat McCloskey Golf Classic Registration)
Thanks

Hi there - I can't seem to locate a form named Pat McCloskey Golf Classic Registration on your account. Do you own the form?
Also, kindly provide the website URL where the form is embedded so we can check it from there.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hello Pat_MacCloskey,
Could you please re-embed the form using the iFrame code?

Ok - I have re-embedded the form using the iFrame code, however issue still exists with select users.
Some more detail on the issue: The main issue is the scrollbar on the form embedded on the website disappears for some users. They are able to advance from field to field by using the tab button, however when doing so, the form does not function properly (phone # fields duplicates numbers, when selecting # golfers, the total due does not calculate and finally the credit card # etc. fields does not allow user to populate (see enclosed screenshot).
The issue seems to be happening with some users when using Google Chrome Browser on a PC. I replicated issue on another computer when using Chrome , however on same computer, when I used Microsoft Edge, it worked fine. Interesting issue is that it does not happen on all google chrome browsers, as I am using a PC with GC and it works fine.
Form works fine on Iphone.
Thank You for your advice

Hi,
This issue could be related to installed browser extension if it is replicable every time on the same browser. Sometimes, browser extensions interfere with . Please disable all browser extensions on the problematic browser; then try again.
I'll also recommend you to install the noscript widget on your form. Make sure that you clear your form cache after installing this widget.
In case the problem persist, let us know.
Thank you!

OK - this is in response to your post on 8/1 at 5:16PM.
The issue is not happening with ALL Google Chrome users, only some are experiencing the issue where the scroll bar is not visible. (Example: I have google chrome and the form works fine). The users that are experiencing the issues are using the below versions of Google Chrome and OS:

I too cannot replicate the issue on Google Chrome when viewing your embedded form at https://www.patmccloskeyscholarshipfoundation.org/register
I do have the same Chrome version just a different windows version.
Can you please share the console logs for the user's having this issue?
To get the console logs, here is a guide:https://www.jotform.com/help/453-how-to-get-a-console-report-from-most-common-browsers
Looking forward for your response.

Based on the console logs, there is no error from our end.
It could be due to his Google Chrome extension as we cannot replicate the issue at our end.
