Users unable to download PDFs or Attachements

    Hello,

Some of my users are experiencing two separate errors at the moment when it comes to exporting data from the forms they have access to. The first error comes about when the user is attempting to download a PDF report of all submissions. Once they receive the email saying their download is ready, when they click to download the report, they receive the "Whoops!" error with the little yellow creature fishing out the 404 error. We've tried different browsers, attempted to re-request the download... nothing.

Secondly, in an instance where we're only really interested in downloading the attachments uploaded by all submissions, two of our users are getting some kind of error like "because you're a sub-user, you don't have permission to do this..." error. Obviously, that seems to be as intended but is there a way around that? I'm the owner of the account but we have numerous "sub-users" who need this function and I'd rather not have to do it for them repeatedly.

Thank you for your time! Love JotForm despite the few oddities.

    Best,

    Byron Durk

    Hi there Byron!

I am sorry to hear you are having issues when downloading PDFs, I have tried to replicate the issue on my end, but I am unable to do it successfully, and PDFs in .zip files download as they should. Can you confirm if this is an ongoing issue and if so send me the link to the specific form?

Additionally, you can absolutely change who has access to, and the ability to manage and edit the submissions.

To do so you need to head into the submission table you want to share and select the Share option in the top-right corner.

From here you will be able to set the recipients as a collaborator, and they will be granted permission to view and edit data, and they should then also be able to download it.

If my steps are unclear, I have also found a more in-depth guide you can look at.

I hope this is helpful, please do reach back out if I can be of further assistance!
