The "Captcha" field always appears in English.

    My form is in Portuguese. The text of the "send" button also appears in Portuguese, but the text "type the above text" (captcha field) appears only in English.

     The captcha text appears only in Portuguese ("Digite o texto acima") after I do login in JotForm and enter my form. So I enter again on my website and the text appears in Portuguese.

     

    See the screenshot. There are 2 forms:

    Form 1: I do login in JotForm and enter this form.

    Form 2: I don't enter this form in the JotForm.

    Hi sentir,

    When accessing the form outside of JotForm tool  the captcha hint can
    only be changed to another language if you are using the full source code
    to embed it on your site.

    To get the full source code:

    1. Open your form in JotForm

    2. Click on "Setup & Embed" > "Embed Form" > choose "Source" from the options.

    3. In the embed wizard window copy the source code displayed:




    In the javascript declaration you should see the following line:
     JotForm.initCaptcha('input_12'); $('input_12').hint('Type the above text');

    Manually translate the hint text to Portuguese then embed it to your site.

    Hi sentir,

    To avoid this from happening, always edit and save your form with the Form Builder set to Portuguese language.

     

    Always keep in mind that the wordings/text in built-in form elements such as the Captcha field will always be saved to the language the Form Builder is currently set to.

    If you edit then save the form while the site is in English, these wordings will be saved in English. If you edit and save in Portuguese, then they will be saved in Portuguese.

    I went ahead and saved your form in Portuguese. Please view your form to confirm that it is working fine now on your end.
