Jotform Approvals: The ability to make comment mandatory when submission is denied

Hello, I was wondering if there is currently a setting or workaround to making it mandatory for a designated approver to leave a comment in the JotForm Approval inbox when a submission is denied? I noticed that there is a setting under the Approval Properties that makes is required for an approver to leave a comment but that makes it required if the submissions is being approved, too. Is there a way to limit comments to be required only if a submission is being denied?

    Thank you in advance,

    Jon

Hi Jon, thank you for reaching us.

Currently, it is not possible to make comments mandatory when submission is denied. However, kindly allow me to escalate this ticket as a feature request to our back-end team. While we can't guarantee that it will be implemented, if/when our team has an update for you, we will notify you through this ticket.
