First of all, i'm not html or code savvy when it comes to web.

I am using wordpress (just basic, no customization tools or whatsoever), and i am trying to embed an online form that I have made from jotform. I do know that wordpress does not support javascript (from further investigation..) and realized that I need to download the Wordpress Embed form plugin, which i did, but nth happens when I'm at the html tab.. I don't see the "pencil" icon.

At the Installation instruction ( page, you lost me at:

Download repo's tarball/zip and extract it to your WordPress's Plugins folder ({wordpress-folder}/wp-content/plugins)

Is it because it will only work on a Windows platform?

Embed your form using our iFrame Method: Getting the Form iFrame Code and paste it into your wp post/page editor. Make sure you are on the "text" window per our instructions given to this guide: Adding-Forms-to-Wordpress. If you are using the latest Wordpress, you should be able to see the "text" tab.

Using the WordPress Embed Form plugin, you should be able to install directly from your Admin Dashboard. Just go to Plugin page > Add new > Search > Install
