I have created a data collection form which emails me customers data once it has been submitted. This is also linked to the PayPal payment gateway. I have had a few issues where a I will receive notification of a payment being completed on PayPal but no email notification from the submission form? However I can see the submission details when I view it from the jot form dashboard.
This is only happening on a small number of submission but i was just wondering if you knew of any problems that could cause this?
One possible cause of this is that your mail server is blocking some of the emails coming from Jotform. You can fix this by whitelisting our IP and Domains as instructed from this guide: How To Setup Email Alerts To Prevent NOT Receiving Email Alerts
Also try firstname.lastname@example.org from the Sender Email settings as well as the Mandrill SMTP Settings. How to use Mandrill to Send Emails From Your Own Email Address. Both of these settings should help. If not, please update us here.
