    Create conditions with unique ID field

    Hello,


    A while ago i created a form which i was able to give customers two unique numbers i pre-entered.


    Example if unique ID =1 then display xxxxxx ( whatever i had set )

     

    However now that is completely gone, all the conditions i have set are deleted and i can no longer create the same form, has this been deleted or the service is no longer in use ???

    I managed to create something similar to what you reported. For the unique ID field I used a textbox with numeric validation:

    And then I settled the conditions:

    Hello Carina,


    Actually it was a little different.

    Before, i used to enter 2 numbers example: 333 and 444.


    I used to set a condition, if unique ID = 1 then display on the thank you page 333 and 444.

     

    The unique ID would automatically go up by 1 everytime someone filled out the form.


    So if the unique ID is equal to 1 then display code 333

     

    then the next person to fill out the form would get unique ID 2


    So if the unique ID is equal to 2 then display code 444

     

    and this would go on.

    That's how the Unique ID field works until now. It will increment by 1 per submissions. 

    In what way are you trying to display numbers on the thank you page? Is it by using "Thank you Message Conditions" or by using number fields with default values?

    I assumed what you want to achieve here is to create a thank you message conditions, where if the unique ID matches the specific number in the condition, a thank you message that is set for that condition will be displayed after form submissions?

    Example:

    I would suggest checking it again. The 2 methods I've mentioned should be working normally just like before.

    so now it is showing 333, how do i make it show 444 when the unique ID = 2 ? and so on. So every time the unique ID goes up it shows a diffrenet predefined number ?

    This is correct.

    The number you will see in the TY page will automatically change/update according to the sequence in of the Unique ID field.

    Thank you for the reply.
    I have not been able to make it work.
    I can only make it work for one predefined number and that's all.
    I have 10 codes that are different I want to display to each new person who
    fills in the form. So when one person presses submit they get 1 code,
    another gets another code and so on and these get displayed on the thank
    you page to the person filling out the form. The form used to do this but
    now doesn't, am I doing something wrong? An I missing the point you are
    trying to make?

    You will need to add a new condition each time and change the thank you message.

    So, in this way each unique ID you predefined will have a different thank you message. Let us know if this helps.
