    Hi -

When I include a checkbox field on my form all of the submitted data is stored in the same cell in Excel with no delimiter for parsing. Is there a better way to gather that type of multiple choice, many-option data so that is is easier to manipulte in Excel? Thanks!

    Hi,

New lines/Line breaks can be easily assigned with delimiter on excel. Just use the following formula. I have used ^ as the delimiter.

    =SUBSTITUTE(B2,CHAR(10),"^")

Now, after assigning delimiter, copy the results and paste it as values (Home --> Paste --> Paste Values) to remove its formula.

You can then separate each values by column if you want by using to Text to Columns tool. Here's an example:

    Enter delimiter symbol.

    Hope this helps. Thank you!
