    Other users change my template - can it be locked?

    Hi there.  Other users seem to be able to change the template i've uploaded (the Talking Tots Registration Form - i uploaded it a few days ago, another user 'Gore-Mathew' has changed it.  There are a number of people out there that want to use the my form exactly as it is and i'd like to lock it.  Is this possible?

    Hi Claire, You are referring to the the Form Template then if that is correct? Can you please confirm? If so then what was it set to before? Or are you referring to the form setup that you have?

    I looked and I currently see it looks like you have one then one labeled as a template which both appear to be set the same as " Default " for it's Style.

    Gori-Mathew is one of our Support Team Members as far as I know still but I don't think he would've changed it and perhaps he may have helped you with a previous issue on the same form possibly? Are you certain it was him and not someone else with access to your account by you maybe? You might be seeing where it says who last changed and viewed your form. Our Support Team Members aren't supposed to make any changes to your form without your permission.

    Unfortunately, There's really not a way to " Lock " your form style and set up into place other then to not give anyone acess to your account or sub-accounts access to the " Edit " feature for your forms. Your account is only setup to allow Our Team Members Access (Only When you request it from us), You, and Sub-Accounts Access (Edit or View Only) so perhaps that is what happened.

    Thanks for the quick response.  I was referring to the Talking Tots Registration Form template I shared recently.  You will see there are now two templates there now, one from me that I've just re-published (has blue branding banner at the top) and one that Gorilla-Mathew has cloned, altered and published.  Can you please ask Gori-Mathew to remove any reference to 'Talking Tots' from his/her form as it's confusing people who are looking for my form!  Please note, no one else has access to my account. 

     

    Not sure what's happened but I also raised an issue recently that my template keeps disappearing, could this have happened again when Gori-Mathew cloned my original one?

    Hi Claire,

    I have now removed the other template that is enhanced by my colleague. 

    It is actually part of our job to maintain, clean and enhance forms that are shared in the form templates page with fewer details to a more robust one so it can be easily index on the search results.

    However as per your request, we have noted it here so your form will not be cloned and changed anymore, and I have also informed Mathew about it so he won't be doing it again. This should be fine by now.
