Coupon code discount data on Order Total is not being forwarded to FreshBooks

    I created an integration to our FreshBooks account and everything seems to be working fine with the exception of the coupons.  The discount does not pass over to FreshBooks. 

    Please help!

    Hi Renee,

    Can you please try reintegrating the form to Freshobooks.

    In the integration wizard, make sure to map the fields of the payment items/products correctly.


    try also making the Products/Item name in your payment tool shorter. Just use name not phrase.

    You can just use "Premium Listing Choices" instead...


    If you need to add annotation text, you can use the TEXT field found in Form Tools to add instructions/notification text in your form.


    I tested the Freshbook integration and I was able to see the inclusion of Coupon Code discounts into the Invoice in Freshbooks.

    Thank you for the reply!  I made the adjustments above, reintegrated and it's still not working.  My coupon code is on the order total and not the line item amount.  Maybe that is the difference where iit worked in your test?  It does show on the form as applying the code to the total (and the amount adjusts).  Just doesn't pass the order total discount over to Freshbooks.

    I did try adding a product level discount and that did work - it passed the discount over.  So it does seem to be an issue with discount off order total.

    Hello TeamLocal,

    I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

    I cloned your form and integrated it with my freshbook account. Upon testing, I found that it does not forward the discount data on order total to freshbook.

    I am creating a bug report and sending it to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as we receive any update from them.

    Thank you Thank you Thank you!  You have no idea how big a relief this is (and how much time it's going to save not having to manually adjust).  Works perfectly.
