How do I add more fields to choose from the drop down list, when mapping the Salesforce integration?

Asked by miraclebabies on February 10, 2014 at 08:02 PM

I am integfrating into salesforce. When I am map the fields and select from the drop down list there is only selected fields to choose from, how do I expand this drop down list, as I would like to add more fields but they are not there to choose, even though I know that they are in Salesforce. For eg. The first field to map say ' Full name' I don't want Full name, I would like to break it down to First name and Last name.

Please make sure the field types matched on both your form and the SalesForce form, e.g. if it's a textbox field from SalesForce, it should be textbox field on your Jotform form, if it's checkbox then create a checkbox on your form.

In case of the Full Name, add the textbox field in your Sales Force that is first name and last name so that you can map them to those in the form.

Hope this help. Inform us if further assistance is needed.

great, thanks. I have just changed the field type to what I thought was the same, a calendar option, we have a calendar option in salesforce. But date of borth still is not coming up as an option.

It is not possible to use date or date/time field with salesforce as of the moment. Actually, I have no issue mapping them but since date field composed of 3 textbox fields, it would give you 3 date options in the integration dropdown which is the reason why it won't work.

You may consider using Zapier instead. You can integrate Jotform > Salesforce at Zapier.
