Form Guidance for some of our requirements

    Looking for some general suggestions as to how to handle the workflow for our Loan Application form. We require 6 personal references, but we need to speak with at least 4 of them to approve the application. We currently do this through Airtable, but with the new Approval process and Inbox 2.0 I think we can handle it through JotForm. Here a some requirements:

    • Notification to employees that a form has been submitted
    • Ability for an employee to "claim" the form or show that they are working the verifications
    • A way to mark which references have been verified
    • A way to communicate back to the submitter if we need additional references in the event we couldn't reach the minimum of 4
    • A way for the submitter to edit and resubmit any changes
    • A way for us to let the customer know that the form was accepted and approved

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your interest in JotForm. To answer your questions;

    1. This is possible through email notifications. You can create multiple notifications and change the recipient's email address. Guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/41-how-to-change-the-email-address-used-for-notification-email/

    2. I am not quite sure how you'd like employees to claim but you can share your form URL with them so they can fill out and inform you of their progress by submitting the form.

    3. You can do this with Tables or Inbox. On tables, you can add a new checkbox column where you can mark those that are verified.

    On Inbox, you can use tag and add a tag to those who are verified.

    4. You can reply to the submitter on Table or Inbox. Example:

    5. Provide them the edit link so they can update their submission. Here's how: How to Let Users Update Their Form Submissions at a Later Date

    6. In the approval flow, you can send emails when you approve/deny submissions. The email can be customized in the flow: Example:

    FYI, as part of our support system policy, we can only handle 1 question per ticket. If you have follow up questions with any of your inquiries, we may split them into separate tickets to avoid confusion.
