    How to remove the extra space on the left of each field

    Asked by tomstierli on July 07, 2011 at 10:48 AM

    Dear Madam, dear Sir

    Jotform is great and so easy to setup thanks.

    Unfortunately, I can't allign the label to the left completely, there is always still a margin of 3mm from the left border. I have attachted a screenshot and marked "the gap" red. It would be perfect, if I could allign with the text on the page

    Thank you for your answer

    Hi Tom,

    To remove the remaining space to the left of the labels you can use the
    inject  custom css feature.

    To do this:

    Here's how to add your custom css:

    1. Open your form in JotForm
    2. Click on 'Setup & Embed'
    3. Choose 'Preferences'
    4. Select 'Form Styles'  and in the Inject Custom CSS
    add the following code:

    .form-line
    {  padding: 0px; }

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Mliz

    Hi,

    I think the code provided by our colleague Mliz above will remove all spaces altogether, including the spaces between the fields. If that is not what you want to achieve, you may use this variation of Mliz's code:

    .form-line
    { padding-left: 0px; }

    Feel free to contact us again if our solutions don't help. Let us know if you have other queries or concerns. Thanks!
