How to merge submissions of multiple similar forms?

Asked by kidoruby on February 12, 2014 at 09:43 AM

    Hello,

First of all, I want to express how amazed i was for the fast response you gave me the last time.

My question this time is :

I created 10 personalized forms for my clients with mainly the same fields and a report merging all of their results would be very helpful.

    Any idea?

    Thanks

    Gerard

    Reports thanks hello same all

    Hello Gerard,

Unfortunately, we do not have such feature where you can merge the results of all the forms. There are actually few options which will be very close to your requirement:

    1. Combine Submissions App: You can take advantage of this app which will allow you to combine the submissions of multiple forms in one csv file. Please take a look at the following URL :  http://apps.jotform.com/app/combine_submissions

    2. Google spreadsheet: You can integrate your form with google spreadsheet. You can merge all the excel together.

    3. Report: You can create HTML Table listing or grid listing report. You can open these reports and copy the submission records to manually merge them. The following guides should help you create reports:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/209-How-to-create-an-HTML-Table-Listing-Report

    http://www.jotform.com/help/105-How-to-create-a-Grid-Listing-report

These are the options I can possibly think of currently. There is no automated way to merge the submission records.

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

I have tried to get the app, seems like it could be my solution. When I click on “get now” button, it asks for my username and password. When I fill it and press “sign in”, nothing happens

    Thanks

    Hello kidoruby,

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

I am unable to replicate the problem you are having. It did authenticate my login credentials without any problem. Please check the screenshot below:

I would suggest you to please clear your browser cache and try to authenticate again. The following guide should help you in clearing browser cache:  http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

Which browser you are having this issue with? You may like to try using chrome browser and get back to us if the issue persists. Try to use the chrome browser instead and see if that helps you.

    Thank you!

    Hi Ashwin

I am trying to use your option 2, i.e using Google Spreadsheet but I have noticed that every time I do an integration from another form, it creates a new spreadsheet with the same name and not just collect the submissions into just 1 file. Is there a way around this as that won't combine the submissions.

    Thanks
