    Does JotForm support digital signatures?

Asked by Charlie on July 07, 2011 at 01:51 PM

I need to build a form that includes a signature field. Does JotForm support that? The signatures need to be legally binding.

    Hi Charlie,

Unfortunately as of now JotForm does not have the digital signature feature.
What I can suggest is to create required checkbox that says "I accept the terms"
or a small textbox where they are asked to enter their initials.

Another possible solution is to have a "Print Form" button to your form
and then ask them to print, sign and fax the filled form.
The Print Form button can be enabled by adding a Submit button on the form
then select "Print Button" at the toolbar.

Let us know if you have further questions.

UPDATE: We have just released e-signature capturing for forms.

You can now add an e-signature question to your form and get your users to sign the forms they complete.
