    The post answer button on my previous thread was not working for 12 hours on several different devices so I created a new thread in response to this one:

    http://www.jotform.com/answers/332485-Collecting-Credit-Card-Information-through-Forms

    My reply is: What if I don't want to process credit cards and only want to gather the information. Would this still be acceptable using your product?

    Hello Ryan,

    Unfortunately no. You should not ask credit card details in your form and it is against our terms of use. You can only use one of our in built payment tools to process payments if you are selling some products / subscriptions.

    We have automated anti-phishing system which scans all forms and mark them with probability of being used for phishing activities. It will automatically suspend your account. We do not recommend you to create such forms.

    Thank you!

    We have the same issue.  We sell a service and do not charge customers until after it's complete.  The final cost varies and it is convienient for everyone involved if we can collect the information and charge the card post service.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you for your time.

    @Larry

    As my colleague has stated before, we do not recommend asking credit card info, that will cause the suspension of your account. The only way you can do that action is by using one of our in built payment tools to sell products/subscriptions. There is no other ways.

    So, if you have further questions related to this inquiry, kindly open your own thread to post your doubts and we will be more than glad to help you.

    Thanks
