Why doesn't the embed form code not work on my wordpress blog?

Asked by marriotthk66 on July 08, 2011 at 03:05 PM

I followed the instructions for embedding my form on my wordpress blog and it doesn't work. I copied the code into the htm section of a new post, clicked 'update' and the code just disappeared.

    Page URL:

    Hi there,

Can you confirm that the page is saving correctly?  I took a look at the source code for your page and there is no mention of Jotform.  Should the form be at http://cats-in-boxes.com/ or at some subpage?

It's possible that WordPress is stripping out the javascript code.  To check that, insert the script tag as usual like so:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/4-Adding-Forms-to-Wordpress

But include some extra text after the closing script tag.  If you save the page and see the extra text, but no form, then you know WordPress is filtering it.  In that case have a look at this link, it seems to offer a solution:

Please let us know if you have any luck, or require any further help.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Thanks Daniel -  I've just given a link to the form which works.

I'll try the embedded code again tomorrow.
