    XT-CMS AND JOTOFRM

Asked by hdebeer on February 17, 2014 at 01:47 AM

Firstly I want to thank the team for assisting me in the last query it was very helpful.

I am doing my designs on Xara webdesigner. My first query is from a client who want to edit and make changes on his own, using the xt-cms software. My only question is how does it work with the forms in this case? He sells tools and accessories so each item has a number as per my previous request that works great, but if he is to make changes with the cms system, how will he add forms to the cms system.

Another question is that when I copy the code to xara under the body section, there is a title with the details of the form heading.

I've tried to change the title, but the details remain the same, is it possible to make manual changes on the form (the title for instance) and copy and paste it to the other areas or should forms it be designed on its own.

    Thank you for your assistance

    Hi,

How will he add forms to the cms system.

Check this guide on how to add form to Xara. http://www.jotform.com/help/175-Changing-Height-in-Xara-7. Your client should embed the form to Xara if he wants to add a form to his site. And if he wants to edit or change something on the form, you can share your Jotform form to your client by creating a sub-account with "Edit Form" permission. The updates made on the form should reflect instantly on the embedded form. However, if the form is embedded as full source code not iframe or script embed, he should retake again the entire form source code of the form and replace the existing form source code embedded on the page.

Another question is that when I copy the code to xara under the body section, there is a title with the details of the form heading.

Sorry but I don't quite get what you mean here, if you are embedding the form using its source code, you can freely modify it from there.

Feel free to let us know if I've missed something on your question or if you need clarification.

    Best Regards!
