    Cloning sections of a form

Asked by vaidm on February 19, 2014 at 01:43 AM

    Hi there,

I've got a form that runs into multiple pages / sections with loads of conditional logic. Apparently one section is an exact clone of the other and I'm finding it a bit tedious to duplicate every field and then drag and drop them in right place. I was wondering if there is a way to clone a specific section of the form?

You can actually duplicate fields or sections of a form. Please use this guide

    Thanks Jon!

I did use - perhaps I wasn't a bit clear (sorry, my fault). I was able to clone the fields, but it didn't clone the conditional logic that was attached to each of the original field. Is there a way around this?

Unfortunately, there is no method yet to duplicate/copy condition logic within the same form.

BUT if you cloned your form it will include the condition logic of that form.

    (guide: -How-to-clone-an-existing-form-from-your-account)

You can probably have to compensate by creating a base template form and add all the conditions to it, Then clone this form to make use of the existing condition logic and modify/style the form.
