How to calculate totals in checkbox field?

Asked by northshoreweb on February 20, 2014 at 07:54 AM

I'm trying to allow for the "Registration" section to total in the "Total" field underneith it. I've tried to set it up, but have been unsuccessful in having it add correctly. What could I do to set this up?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

In your "Enter your total Here" field you can perform calculation by adding this to your Calculation formula in your "Enter your total Here" field [{registration}+{registration}]. A detailed guide on how to perform a calculation: https://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form

You can also use payment tools like paypal so that it will automatically calculate the total when a check box is ticked.

Just drag the Paypal payment tool to your form editor section to use it.

Thank you. I tried following the guide but I got confused. We don't want to set it up with Paypal, otherwise I would just do that. What code to I need to enter in the the "calculation" field to make it work?

In your "Enter your total Here" field you can perform calculation by adding this to your Calculation formula in your "Enter your total Here" field [{registration}+{registration}]

    1. Click on your "Enter your total Here" then choose Calculate Field

    2. Add this to your calculation formula [{registration}+{registration}]
