    Dropbox form submission not being received

    I recently set up a dropbox / send a file form on my website and am having difficulties receiving files.  I tested the form myself and it worked for me: I received the "thank you" verification, the files in the dropbox, and the confirmation emails.  

    However, I am trying to receive a video file from another person and it seems to be failing. He tries to upload the video file which is 50MB and said he didn't get any indication that the upload was sucessful or not.  I didn't receive the file or any email indicating that a file was sent.

    Any thoughts on to why he can't upload the file?  I have plenty of room on both jotform and dropbox for the file.

    Well, depending on your email provider it could entirely be the email system that is keeping you from recieving the confirmation email and the submitted form and such. 

    Take gmail for example, (last I knew at least) you are only aloud to send/recieve emails with attached files of 25mb or smaller.  And since you didn't recieve the email w/the submitted form, it (being the form) didn't recieve the confirmation that you got the email, so it didn't send the "Thank You" email in response to the submitted form.

    When a file is uploaded, it is saved temporarily on our server but will not be forwarded to your account's submissions unless the submit button is pressed.

    I have a feeling that your client did not press the "Send Now!" button, thinking that after the upload completes, it is automatically submitted. That could be the reason why he did not get a confirmation (Thank You page) and you did not get the notification email and the entry in your submissions page.

    I suggest that you fix your webpage's layout or modify your form so that the "Send Now!" button is displayed conspicuously.
