    Images in notification emails

Asked by Rikards on February 20, 2014 at 09:12 PM

I asked before how to get the image to show in the notification email which I get into my email account.

I changed according to the instructions for which you gave me a link.

Now i get a link in the email to the image. This doesn't work for me, I need the actual image in the email as before, so I see it on opening the email.

Please give exact instructions how to do this, if it is still possible.

If it is not possible anymore please advise me.

I used to get the images this way but it doesn't work any more. I haven't changed the forms, so it must be something on Jotforms side which removed this feature.

    This is a deal braker.

This feature was the only reason why I subscribed with you.

If it doesn't work, I will ask my cc company for a charge back and stop my subscription, and start somewhere else.

    Sincerely,

    Hello Rikards,

Upon checking your form's notification, I found that you have added the correct image code to display the uploaded images.

I suggest you to remove the {image1} form your notification message and just have the {IMG:image1} and so on for all your uploaded images. This will only show the image and not the image url in your notification email. You can leave {image1}{IMG:image1} as it is to display the image and the image URL.

The reason why you do not see the images in your notification email is because you have switched the email editor from HTML to TEXT mode. You need to click the "Switch to HTML Mode" and that should solve your problem. Please check the screenshot below:

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
