Product List - "Other Amount"

I want to add a product called Federal Excise Tax, but I want the customer to manually place the amount in the amount field so that it calculates this amount into the total. The reason is the customer has to calculate 1% of the sticker price of a 2021/22 vehicle and place that amount into this new product field. Thanks!

The "Other Amount" option is not available on the Product List yet I'm afraid.

A workaround would be to...

1. Create a new product.
2. Set the Price to "1" (or "0.01")
   

   

3. Add a Quantity Selector.

   

4. Set the Show Quantity as "Text Box".
5. Input your desired Label and Default Quantity.
6. Hit Save Quantity.

   

7. Save the product.
