I have had to include some hidden fields in my form (as a workaround suggested for another problem). I really don't want these fields to appear in the notification and response emails. They are always the same and a waste of space. And they are likely to be confusing to recipients of the emails.
I would like an option to exclude these fields from the emails automatically, just as can be done with empty fields.

If you enable the option hide "empty fields" these hidden fields are also excluded from the email. You wish to be able to send empty fields but not the hidden fields?

Are you sure of this? If you go into the email generation handler it offers the whole table of fields in a "locked" state. To alter the table, for example to leave out some fields, you have to "unlock" the table, and you get a warning that exclusion of empty fields will not apply in the unlocked state. You cannot lock the table again as that puts back the full table.
I want to be able to have a reduced set of fields included, but still to have empty fields excluded as well. If that is how it works, I'd be delighted, but then the erroneous warning should be removed.

You are right, these hidden fields are shown in the notification email table, but as long as you don't edit the notification, they are not shown in the sent emails. I forwarded this feature request to our development team in your other thread as it was very similar.

Thanks. Yes the two requests are similar, and solution of the other one will solve this one too.
