    Required Field Problem

    I have a required field for postal code. However when I fill it in, it does not accept the input. No matter what I try, it does not recognize taht the field has been filled.

     

    Edit: I regenerated the code and repasted it into the page, and it seemed to work for awhile, then the problem started again with the next update. So at the moment I still have this problem.

    Upon checking your form's direct URL, I am unable to replicate the problem you are having. I was able to input all the fields and was able to successfully submit your form. 

    Please share your web page URL where you have your form embedded and we will take a look.

    Thanks for that Ashwin,

    I took the 'required' parameter out, and removed the captcha. Then of course it worked. I think that's when you gave it a try. then my internet went down for awhile. I saw you form come in when I got back up. I've taken the field out and then redid it, so now I'll try making it required again and see how it goes.

    I went back to the form and toggled the 'required' back on, and it seems to work now.

    I think that there was something that broke the code in that field when I merged the forms previously. Removing it, and then putting a new one in seems to have fixed it. While I was at it I also had removed the previous Captcha field, and then replaced it with the simpler one, not sure if that might have had an influence as well.

    I have the same problem with the postal code. Even if i complete the field it marks an error.

    Any suggestion about how to fix this urgently, thanks

    Having the same issue with all of the address fields on my forms.  Even when the information is completed accurately, I still receive an error stating "This information required".

    Yes, i tried all the above but nothing, it doesnt work.

    It makes me fear the jotform system is not reliable. I can't monitor the form every day.

    We understand that things like this can become a problem and this is why we are very grateful to our customers that come foward to us about this issues which we might not see at first right away. We also do apologize about this but please understand that technology is far from perfect and sometimes things can unfortunately go wrong.

    However, Please rest assured that when these things happen we do everything we can to find the source of the issue and fix it. This was why my colleague had requested that you open up a ticket about it if it's still a problem on your end and again we do sincerely apologize about this inconveinence.
