I am not sure how to set this up. What I am wanting is when someone submits a form to my email, the person that filled out the form, I want them to be able to get a response email, Showing that I received their submission. How do I do this?
Here is how you can add autoresponder:
First go to the Setup&embed
then Email alerts
and finaly the Add New Email
Then you click on the Autoresponder Email and in the popup Email wizard and click Next
then you enter your email and name : be advised that Jotform advices to select "email@example.com" as the Sender Email to ensure that the auto-response is not identified by the recipient's email provider as a spam!
and here you can edit the autoresponder text and make a autoresponder template look as you wish.
ie. to resemlbe more to your website design.
You should always add the "Sender E-mail" (your business email) in your notification as this is pre-required for your notification to work.
as a Recipient e-mail you must select your clients email field from the form
You have now finished making an autoresponder email !
Just " test email" and press Finish after successful testing as shown in the screenshot below:
