You can absolutely subscribe temporarily. This guide, https://www.jotform.com/help/341-how-to-cancel-a-subscription-and-downgrade-back-to-free/, explains how to set your account to downgrade. Please note that this will not immediately cancel your account, but will prevent the subscription from renewing. You can upgrade and downgrade as often as you desire.
