Why won't my Submit button display?Asked by uoseshop on February 26, 2014 at 09:14 AM
I have one form and the Submit button has just stopped displaying all of a sudden. It comes after a conditional section that is only displayed if a check box if previously ticked, but it does not display whether or not this section is visible.
I have tried deleting the button and adding a new one, but this hasn't helped. Please can you advise how to resolve this ASAP?
The form is on an intranet site so I can't give you a URL, sorry.
have you tried reverse conditioning?
ie. To not show a button only if the check box is not checked.
I saw 2-3 days ago in another form similar problem, or you could chek condition after condition the
Can you give us a internal Jotform URL of the form?
Upon checking your form with it's direct URL, I found that it does display the submit button correctly but on a separate page. It is just because you have added a page break before the submit button. Please check the screenshot below:
I believe removing the page break should solve your problem as you have not added any condition to show/hide your submit button. You have added the conditions correctly which shows the "Downloads" collapse as expected:
Hope this helps.
I actually put that page break in there just after I'd posted this question, after seeing the solution on a simillar post to mine.
The page break is actually allowing the Submit button to display, albeit on a separate page, whereas before the page break was inserted, the button would not display at all.
What do you make of this?
P.S. Datasphere - Thanks for your input.
I did some tests and disabled all conditions with the same missing submit button result. I deleted and reinserted the submit button again and moved the button up in the order to try to determine what isn't working. Only when I positioned the button under "add an image to your item..." it started to show.
There must be some kind of error preventing the submit button to show bellow this section. My suggestion is that that part would be reinserted.
Let us know please if you need more assistance.
