Does the file upload feature in JotForms work on iWeb09?

Asked by Nathan on July 13, 2011 at 01:21 PM

Since iWeb does not support PHP?  Does the File upload form only require HTML to be functional?

    Thanks,

    Hi Nathan,

Yes, you’re right, iWeb ’09 lacks control over PHP but you can still use JotForm. This is because whenever you embed a form, you are only calling the files from our servers. All codes are executed on our servers, so that should not be an issue as long as you integrate the form properly.

    Please follow these steps:

    1. On "Setup & Embed" tab on the toolbar, click on "Embed Form" button.
    2. Click "iWeb" option.

    3. Copy the code given in the code area

    4. On iWeb, open the page you want to edit.
    5. Click on "Web Widget" button.
    6. Click on "HTML Snippet" option.
    7. Paste the code you copied from Code area into the HTML Snippet text box

Thank you for using JotForm and hope to hear from you soon.

    Hi,

In addition to Albert's answer, Jotform will work perfectly fine with your iWeb generated page as long as you do not touch the parts of the code that are responsible for sending the submitted data onto our server, especially this part:

Feel free to contact us again if you have other questions or queries. Oh, and by the way, I noticed that you are using a Guest account. I suggest that you register for a free account to get full access to your form wherever you may be, whichever computer and browser you are using.
