Error special characters sent by POST

Asked by htony22 on February 27, 2014 at 10:56 AM

    Hello, my question is this:
When I receive POST data in my web, special characters (example letter ñ) go wrong.
But when I make the Excel reports are good.
Is it a problem as I am receiving data or a configuration problem in the form JotForm?
Of course, thank you very much, best regards.

I did a test submission on a form using special characters and they showed right.

Can you please provide us the form and website url so we can be of more assistance? Also if you can specify which fields are presenting this error, that could also help us assist you.

    Thank you

    Hello, good afternoon Carina
I send the form by POST for processing and directly enter certain fields in a database (name, location, etc).
Probe with multiple fields and all generate errors

I know that website is. I'm running the tests directly from the link of the form

Of course, thank you very much, greetings.

I'm thinking this has to do with charset and encoding.

    I have a few questions:

What is the encoding on the document that performs GET on the HTTP POST Data?

I could be wrong here, so please  share it with us -we'd like to take a closer look.

Thank you for helping us clarify the matter.
