    Hi,

    How can I prepopulate a file upload field in a second form?  Really just to attach the image URL of where it is being stored by Jotform and carry it over to a text box on second form.

    Thanks!

    Let me know if I understand this right:

    You have two forms

    Form 1: Users (or you) upload images

    Form 2: Users select one of the images uploaded on form 1

    Hi!

    Yes, user uploads a file (image file) on Form #1.

    I'd like for Form #2 to be able to capture the uploaded file name (i.e., http://uploads.jotform.com/user/xxxxxxx).

    Would this be accomplished by having a second step on Form #1 where user selects the image they just uploaded?  What with a checkbox?

    Thanks!

    If I understand your request correctly, the second step is not required. We can use upload field {tag} value on prepopulation link. You can place the link on your form Email Notification, Autoresponder, Thank You Page or use auto Custom URL redirect.

    Example, auto redirect from the first form to the second one:

    URL: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/40585691907970?uploadLink={upload}

    Where {upload} is upload field tag from the first form.

    Test form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/40585834959976
