    Asked by gendersummit on February 28, 2014 at 12:16 PM

    after submission, people see a landing page with the option to share, and download their registration. The link on this page is

     <a target="_blank" href="/{pdf-link}" >

    during a submission test, no file is found, and the download link generated is:

    https://submit.jotformpro.com/https://submit.jotformpro.com/server.php?action=getSubmissionPDF&sid=259416629764778458&formID=40542607632955

    Could you help with this, please?

    Hi,

    You have to hyperlink it using the following URL:

    https://submit.jotformpro.com/server.php?action=getSubmissionPDF&sid={id}&formID=40542607632955

    ...instead of the field tag which generates the invalid URL. Where {id}, is the submissions ID that is generated as numbers which will serve as the reference for a particular submission.

    I've fixed it for you. Kindly check.

    Thanks

    Thank you! Any way I can check this without having to put payment back to testing and then submitting the form myself?

    On behalf of my colleague you are welcome. As for your question about testing it further were you meaning that in regards to putting a Payment Integration back on the form to then check it more? Or?

    Testing it via a live submission is usually the best way to check these types of things in all honesty. There really isn't another way around that that I know of mostly because you would need to have the server generate the url anyhow. You could technically use a " free " product field which would bypass that and still test it since the free product for payment integration skips the gateway though it would still use up your submissions.
