I would like a list of everyone who has purchased tickets for a single event and record their emails.
Is there a way to do this other than through the email confirmation I receive when someone places an order?

This can be done by generating a report of your form. To do so, on the Forms Page, select the form and click on Reports, then click on Add New Report
Reports such as the Excel Report, Grid Listing Report and the Html Table Listing Report, should work to obtain the information you need.
