    I wanted to find out if you know how to setup a "confirm signup" button inside of the auto responder email making sure that the email user really wants to join my mailing list? Kinda a double opt-in sort of setup - any other ideas to achieve this is also appreciated!!! Thanks!

    JotForm does not have such feature. But you can basically create a secondary form and link to that form from the email.

    I was thinking about a somewhat similar setup for my form.

    Allow me to elaborate: The form is on a page containing a photo album and its purpose is to allow people to submit pictures to the said album. Presently, when someone uses the form, a "thank you" page loads on successful submission, informing the user that the photo will be reviewed and if approved, added to the album in due course.

    However, I want to have a system where the thank you page informs the user that a message containing a confirmation link was sent to the email address she provided. (Note, I didn't say "her email address" because in reality, she could enter any email she likes, claiming it's hers.) So, the text in the auto response email would go something like this:

    Hello.

    On {date submission was made} at {UTC time submission was made}, someone claiming to be {name entered on the form} submitted a photo to the album at www.photoalbum.example.com via the form there. Was it you? If so, click the following confirmation link or enter it into your browser's address bar. The submitted photo will NOT be considered for inclusion in the album without your taking this important step.

    confirmation.example.com

    If you did not post a photo via the aforementioned form at the stated date and time, just ignore this message.

    Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    {My Name}

    {myemailaddress}

    Webmaster of www.example.com

    If and when the recipient of the message clicks the link, a page would load, stating:

    Thank you. Your photo will be reviewed and if approved, displayed in the album in due course.

    {My Name}

    Webmaster

    www.example.com

    As an added touch, it would be nice if after a few seconds the page would automatically redirect back to the album.

    Can such a system be set up using JotForm? Or rather, are you likely to consider setting up such functionality in the foreseeable future?

    Incidentally, I know it's possible to include the contents of the submission in the auto response message but I figured it would be wise to omit that information in case it were to contain foul language or an inappropriate photo, possibly exposing me to legal liability. I'm just trying to consider all the angles. Then again, I'm probably being unnecessarily paranoid! :)

    I understand what you mean. You can send such an auto-response email, and you can possibly have an edit link in the form so the user can click to view the submission and make corrections on it if needed. However, confirmation part is not possible and it is not currently planned to be implemented.

    Okay, no problem. Even without the confirmation link feature, I still think JotForm is the coolest form creation and management tool on the planet! :)

    Including an edit link might not be a bad idea, btw.

    Thanks for your response.
