    Required field message opens automatically, even without clicking on fields and skipping them

    In my form, several of the required fields glows red before you try to fill them as if they were skipped. How do I fix it?

    Hi, to remove the red background on error messages, please inject the following CSS code into your form:

    .form-line-error {

    background:none repeat scroll 0 0;
    }

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    I do not think I explained myself right 

    The problem is that the required fields react as if I'm about to jump over the fields before I get to them

    Hi,

    I was able to reproduce the issue from my side. So, I cloned your form to test it from closer.

    So, since I noticed that the URL of the form was set to secure mode I started by changing it to nonsecure mode:

    As you can see, the form works correctly while using the non-secure mode. Despite of the deeper in vestigation I did to find what was causing the issue while using the Secure mode of the form I was unable to get any useful result, so I has forwarded this issue to our next level support so that they can help us to find a prompt soltion.

    In the mean time we recommend you to use the nonsecure mode of yoru form: http://www.jotformeu.com/form/40491951011345

    We will inform you in this thread once this issue is resolved.

    I was going to escalate this to one of our developers. But, I just tested your form on a few browsers (include Safari) and the problem does not happen to me. Have you resolved the issue? Maybe it was an issue on our end it is fixed already?

    I am having the same problem, if it's secure or not. 

     

    Seems to be only for radio buttons but i have some at the start of the form that don't come up with the problem and but later in the form they show in red even before you have had the change to make a selection

    We request you to please open a new thread with more details about your report including the form URL from where the issue is occurring for us to check if it does happen on our end. We will then check and troubleshoot what causes this error specifically on your form and provide you an actual fix or a temporary solution if necessary.
